ITINERARY:
DAY 1 - Arrival in Winnipeg
Today you will fly (from Vancouver or Toronto) to Winnipeg, Manitoba. After your arrival, transfer on your own to your Winnipeg hotel and spend one night in Manitoba's capital city. The evening is yours to spend however you choose.
DAY 2 - Winnipeg to Churchill
Today you will have an early morning departure from Winnipeg where you will fly northward along the Hudson Bay coast to reach the city of Churchill, Manitoba. You'll have some free time in Churchill before being transferred to the Tundra Buggy Launch mid afternoon. Board the Tundra Buggy and begin the trek to the Lodge, meandering along the tundra while you are given the opportunity to view, photograph, and learn about Polar Bears, other arctic wildlife and the environment. After your journey, arrive at the Tundra Buggy Lodge for your first overnight stay.
DAY 3 - Sightseeing in Churchill
After a hearty breakfast this morning, depart the lodge once again by Buggy, spending the day on the tundra in search of wildlife. Today you will have some absolutely incredible opportunities to take some unforgettable photos.
DAY 4 - Sightseeing in Churchill
This is your last day spent in a Tundra Buggy to view the spectacular polar bears in their own habitat. Be sure to take as many photos as possible, as an opportunity like this doesn't come around often.
DAY 5 - Churchill to Winnipeg
After breakfast, depart the Lodge, spending the day on the tundra and returning to Launch for your return transfer to Churchill. Spend a short time in Churchill before being transfered to the airport for an evening departure back to Winnipeg. Overnight.
DAY 6 - Departing Winnipeg
Today you will take your return flight to either Vancouver or Toronto.
