ITINERARY:

DAY 1 - Arrival in Calgary

Upon arrival in Calgary, transfer (on your own) to your chosen downtown hotel. The remainder of the day is yours to explore this magnificent city, nestled in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains.

DAY 2 - Calgary to Edmonton

Today transfer via scheduled service from Calgary to Edmonton. Travelling northward you’ll pass through Alberta’s ‘oil country’ before arriving in Canada’s “Festival City” - Edmonton. After a check-in at your hotel, the remainder of the day is at leisure to explore Alberta's capital.

DAY 3 - Visiting Edmonton

You have the whole day today to explore the world's largest shopping/attraction complex - West Edmonton Mall. In addition to offering over 800 stores and services, you also have access to visit all five world class attractions. To top it all off, there's also the opportunity to experience the Las Vegas style Palace Casino, Red's, Planet Hollywood, Jubilations "live" dinner theatre and more!

DAY 4 - Edmonton to Jasper

The morning is yours to do some final exploring before being transferred from the Fantasyland Hotel to Jasper via SunDog's scheduled service. You'll travel through the picturesque country of central Alberta, into the foothills and the Rocky Mountains. At the end of the day, you will be brought to your overnight Jasper accommodation.

DAY 5 - Exploring Jasper

Jasper, fascinating in beauty and history, is set amid some of the most rugged peaks in the Rockies. Today's 4-hour excursion encompasses the area's outstanding features including the mystical Medicine Lake, and Maligne Canyon, with its narrow gorge and limestone walls falling 50 metres to the floor below.

DAY 6 - Jasper to Lake Louise

This morning, board a scheduled service van bound for Lake Louise via the spectacular Icefields Parkway, one of Canada's most scenic routes. Drive past snow-covered mountains, lakes and glaciers all along the way.

DAY 7 - Discovering Lake Louise and the Yoho Valley

Today's excursion will take you to beautiful Moraine Lake, the historic Spiral Tunnels and the magnificent Takakkaw Falls. Other stops on this unforgettable tour include Emerald Lake and Natural Bridge. At the end of the tour in Lake Louise, stay onboard the coach to continue on to Banff.

DAY 8 - Sightseeing in Banff

Start your day with a ride to the summit of Sulphur Mountain aboard a Brewster Banff Gondola. Standing 7500 feet above sea level, you will get some spectacular views of the Bow Valley. Afterwards, join a motorcoach sightseeing transfer headed past Mount Norquay, Cascade Mountain, and Upper & Lower Bankhead. Continuing on to Lake Minnewanka, you will board a 1.5-hour interpretive boat cruise around the largest lake within Banff National Park. Learn about the natural history and native legends that make this lake a landmark. Your excursion concludes with a transfer back to the Banff townsite..

DAY 9 - Banff to Calgary

Conclude this vacation with a transfer from Banff to the Calgary International Airport or Calgary city centre.
