ITINERARY:

DAY 1 - Arrival in Banff

Arrive in Banff and settle in for your overnight stay.

DAY 2 - Fishing in Banff

Lake Minnewanka is the most popular fishing spot in Banff National Park and is virtually a fisherman's paradise. We at Banff Lake Cruise are pleased to offer our Guided Fishing Experience, for which all you need is interest - let us take care of the rest. We operate four 22 foot cabin cruisers that are fully equipped with everything you require, including: fishing licenses, rods, reels, tackle and the most modern electronic and sonar equipment to help locate fish. Our boats are also complete with safety equipment, plus two-way radio contact with our dock office for your comfort while on your expedition. The boats can be completely enclosed and are heated for your complete comfort - never worry about the weather. Trips are based on three hours and all include a fully qualified and licensed guide.

DAY 3 - Fishing in Banff

Another day of fishing awaits you today. Just below Banff townsite, the Bow River winds it's way through the mountains of Banff National Park and out through the front ranges of the Rocky Mountains to the prairies boasting 40km (25 miles) of catch & release waters. This section of The Bow River is a freestone mountain river. The wild and wary Trout in the river make for exceptional sport. Using stable and highly maneuverable MacKenzie River drift boats, we'll expertly float you into some of the nicest holes and most productive holding areas in the river. "A simply magical experience", to enjoy the sensation of fishing in a wild mountain river, as it flows through the incredible mountain scenery of the Canadian Rockies.

DAY 4 - Departing Banff

A morning check out ends your Banff Fishing Getaway. Return your car to the location in Banff, or to any location in Calgary for your homeward or onward journey.
