ITINERARY:

DAY 1 - Arrival in Banff

Transfer via Brewster's airporter service from the Calgary International Airport or your Calgary city centre hotel to Banff. As you pass the foothills and enter the Canadian Rockies, be sure to have your camera ready for some unforgettable photos.

DAY 2 - Choose your Activity

Today, choose your winter activity - Icewalking or Snow Shoeing. Icewalk - Hike on steel walkways built into the canyon walls that give an airy view of the canyon below - Travel through prime wildlife habitat on your way to the trail head and learn the clues to how Johnston Canyon was formed - This popular walk will lead you past the lower falls and to the breathtaking upper icefalls. Snow shoe - Snow shoe through the Sinclair River Valley to the bubbling natural pools of the paint pots, a cultural treasure in our National Park. The natural source of ochre was mined by indigenous people and later by European settlers as a pigment. This is an excellent trip for beginners and those who want a pleasant activity outdoors in the majesty of Kootenay National Park. Guests should dress is ski-wear for this trip including hats, mitts, and warm boots.

DAY 3 - Exploring Banff

Start your day with a ride to the summit of Sulphur Mountain aboard a Brewster Banff Gondola. Standing 7500 feet above sea level, you will get some spectacular views of the Bow Valley. Have the afternoon to do some final exploring, as this will be your last night in Banff.

DAY 4 - Departing Banff

Conclude your adventure with a Brewster transfer from Banff to the Calgary International Airport or Calgary city centre.
