ITINERARY:

DAY 1 - Banff Arrival

Start your day in Banff with a check in to the beautiful Mount Royal Hotel located in the heart of downtown. You will have the entire day to shop, dine and explore this stunning alpine town.

DAY 2 - Banff to the Columbia Icefield

Make your own way to the Columbia Icefield Discovery Centre & Glacier View Inn today. Upon arrival, check into the hotel and then take a ride out on the Athabasca Glacier on a specially constructed Ice Explorer (included). The Athabasca Glacier is part of the Columbia Icefield, the greatest mass of ice outside the Arctic Circle. The ice is 365 metres (1,200 feet) thick – about the height of the Empire State Building.

DAY 3 - Columbia Icefield Departure

Breakfast is included this morning. Have your morning coffee as the sun rises over the glacier. You may wish to take a small walk down to the toe of the glacier to get a unique perspective of the area before your departure.
