ITINERARY:

DAY 1 - Arrival in Vancouver

Upon arrival into Vancouver, transfer independently to your chosen downtown hotel to check in. The rest of the day will be at your leisure to explore the coastal city.

DAY 2 - Vancouver to Lac Le Jeune

Departing Vancouver, travel towards the beautiful interior British Columbia. Leaving the Pacific Coast behind, you will be pleasantly greeted by some of the most stunning scenery in the country. Explore Minter Gardens while enjoying lunch, before traveling up the world-famous Coquihalla Highway for some magnificent photo opportunities. End your trek with an early evening arrival at Lac Le Jeune Resort. You will have plenty of time to relax and enjoy the truly Canadian ambiance of this wilderness lodge.

DAY 3 - Lac Le Jeune to Banff

After breakfast (included), a morning departure will take you eastbound towards the Canadian Rockies. After passing through the Shuswap Lake area, Salmon Arm and Sicamous, you will arrive in Revelstoke in time for lunch (included). Your motorcoach journey continues over the Kicking Horse Pass and Continental Divide with a brief stop in the alpine town of Lake Louise, the "Gem of the Rockies." Afterwards, continue eastbound into the mountain town of Banff. The remainder of the evening is at your leisure.

DAY 4 - Banff to Calgary

Learn about the geology, native history and wildlife while exploring Banff and its surroundings. Start your morning with a short tour visiting such points as Bow Falls, and Surprise Corner. Then it is a stop at the Banff Gondola to ride up into the mountain tops for spectacular views from a one kilometer boardwalk or 360 degree observation deck. A short drive through the town of Banff and the tour travels east down Highway #1. The next stop will be at Stoney Nakoda Resort where there will be time to visit the Native Heritage artifacts exhibit. Lunch will be at leisure. Time will be set aside to participate in an optional Heli-Tour over the Kananaskis Valley or an optional Dreamcatcher excursion in a Terra-Bus to a First Nations Village and through the near by Buffalo Paddock. Your final destination will be downtown Calgary or the Calgary International Airport.
