ITINERARY:
DAY 1 - Arriving at Storm Mountain Lodge
Upon arrival at the Calgary International Airport, pick up your SUV and cruise from the foothills of Calgary to the Canadian Rocky Mountains. Your first night will be spent at the romantic Storm Mountain Lodge, just outside of Lake Louise and Banff.
DAY 2 - Touring the Rockies
Today, make your way to the Cline River Heliport, where you will embark on your amazing flightseeing tour. This scenic flight will allow you to explore the 6 glaciers of Mount Resolute, Mount Cline and the Whitegoat Peaks. You will also view the 900 foot waterfall, some spectacular aqua-green high alpine lakes, and cross a 9,000 foot mountain pass. Included is a one hour stopover with a picnic lunch. Afterwards, continue up the world-famous Icefield Parkway to the Athabasca Glacier where you will experience a once-in-a-lifetime ride to the headwall of the glacier. At the end of the day, return to the Storm Mountain Lodge for your second night.
DAY 3 - Exploring Banff
Start your day with a leisurely drive to Banff, followed by a ride to the summit of Sulphur Mountain aboard a gondola. Up here you will have unimaginable views of the Bow Valley. After this exciting adventure, make your way down the mountain to the Warner Stables where you will embark on a 3 hour trail-ride complete with a real Rockies steak-fry. The evening ends with a drive back to the lodge where you will have your final night in the Rockies.
DAY 4 - Departing Storm Mountain Lodge
A morning check-out ends your Rockies romance experience. Drive back to Calgary for your homeward or onward journey.
