ITINERARY:
DAY 1 - Arriving in Vancouver
Upon arrival into the West Coast city of Vancouver, transfer (on your own) to your overnight accommodation. The rest of the day is yours to relax or get out and enjoy the city.
DAY 2 - VIA Rail from Vancouver to Jasper
Enjoy a trolley tour of Vancouver today. This afternoon, transfer by taxi (included) to VIA Rail Station. Your vacation begins with an evening departure from Vancouver on VIA Rail (in Sleeper Touring Class) with Dome and dining car.
DAY 3, 4 & 5 – VIA Rail's 'Canadian' from Toronto to Vancouver
For the next couple days, you will travel through the provinces of British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan nad Manitoba and before entering the province of Ontario. Your accommodations will be in either a private (deluxe) or semi-private (moderate) sleeper which all have windows to view the magnificent sights. All meals are included while onboard the train.
DAY 6 - Arriving in Toronto
This morning arrive in Toronto, Canada’s most cosmopolitan city. It is a city of contrasts; the soaring glass and concrete towers of the financial heart of the country and the parks, gardens and lakefront boardwalks of a host of communities. It is a cultural storehouse with great museums and galleries. Toronto is also a shopper’s paradise, from the chic boutiques of Yorkville or the lofty glass palace of the Eaton Centre to the fruit and vegetable stalls of the St. Lawrence Market. Transfer on your own to your selected hotel.
DAY 7 - Departing Toronto
A morning check-out and a transfer (included) to the Toronto International Airport will end your "Cross Canada" vacation.
