ITINERARY:

DAY 1 - Arrival in Edmonton

Transfer independently from the Edmonton International Airport to the Four Diamond Fairmont Hotel Macdonald. This hotel has been awarded with an incredible 4 Green Key Eco Rating for its environmentally friendly amenities, menus and accommodations. One of the 'greenest' in the city, you will enjoy the next 3 nights here.

DAY 2 - Exploring Edmonton's Markets

Start your morning with a delicious breakfast in the Harvest Room of the hotel. Each of the items on the menu are locally produced or are as organic and environmentally friendly as possible. Afterwards, make your way downtown to explore some of the cities famous markets. Try visiting the "Planet Organic Market" specializing in gourmet groceries and fresh produce, ensuring that 100% of fruits and vegetables sold are certified organic. Edmonton also is host to a series of Farmer's Markets - perfect for an afternoon of enjoyment. Be sure to visit both the City Market and Old Strathcona Farmers' Market for some great food and souvenirs.

DAY 3 - Visiting Edmonton's Landmarks

After another hearty and eco-friendly breakfast at the Fairmont Hotel Macdonald, the day is once again yours to explore. Maybe take some time to explore some of the landmarks and attractions using any of the cities environmentally friendly forms of transportation including the Highlevel Bridge Streetcar, the Edmonton Transit System or even a Segway.

DAY 4 - Departing Edmonton

A final breakfast in the Harvest Room ends your Edmonton Eco-Experience.
