ITINERARY:

DAY 1 - Arriving in Montréal

Upon arrival in Montréal, transfer on your own to your selected downtown hotel.

DAY 2 - Exploring Montréal

A morning tour of Montréal acquaints you with the world's second-largest French speaking city. Explore the entire day at your choice of museums with your Montréal Museum pass or shop at exquisite boutiques. Wander old Montréal, famous for wines and cuisine.

DAY 3 - Sightseeing in Montréal

A day excursion on Le Bateau-Mouche (seasonal*), based at the Jacques Cartier Pier in the Old Port of Montréal. Following a fully-guided tour of the Old Port, passing by the birthplace of Montréal and the historic locks of the Lachine Canal, the boat heads upstream against rapids that stopped the first European explorers over 400 years ago.

DAY 4 - Montréal to Québec City Sightseeing

An early morning motorcoach tour from Montreal follows the St. Lawrence River to the "Ancient Capital", Québec City. The only walled city in North America, Québec City boasts "old world" charm. Enjoy a city tour before arriving at your hotel for a two night stay.

DAY 5 - Exploring Québec City

Today is yours to enjoy the charm of Québec, the cradle of French culture in North America. Walk the Plains of Abraham where the fate of North America was decided in 1759. Enjoy sidewalk cafes and outdoor displays by Québec artists, all set among 400 years of history.

DAY 6 - VIA Rail's 'VIA 1' from Québec City to Montréal
