ITINERARY
DAY 1 - Arrival in Calgary
Upon arrival at the Calgary International Airport, pick up your mid-size rental vehicle and head out to Banff. Traveling through the foothills, you are sure to see some spectacular sights. Afterwards, you’ll enter the majestic peaks of the Canadian Rockies, passing by several Indian reserves and mountain towns before arriving at your destination. Truly spectacular.
DAY 2 - Exploring Banff
Take a full day to explore Banff and area. In town you'll find lots of excitement - shopping, cafes, nightlife and museums. The Banff Gondola will take you high above Banff townsite for an incredible panoramic view. This is a great option when you’re ready for lunch – as the café up top offers some great cuisine. To complete your day, take a dip in the hot mineral pools at the newly-renovated Banff Upper Hot Springs.
DAY 3 - Banff to the Columbia Icefield
Today, you will travel through Banff National Park along the world-famous Icefields Parkway. Pass by beautiful Lake Louise for some incredible photos before continuing north. Along the way to the Columbia Icefield you'll pass many glaciers, rivers and icy blue glacier-fed lakes. When you reach the Columbia Icefield, be sure to take the Columbia Icefield Glacier Experience before checking into the Glacier View Inn for your overnight stay.
DAY 4 - Columbia Icefield to Radium
Travel westward into the province of British Columbia today. You’ll pass through some magnificent scenery before arriving at one of the most relaxing towns in Western Canada - Radium. While here, take a dip in the world-famous Radium Hot Springs; the perfect end to a perfect day.
DAY 5 - Radium to Calgary
A morning check out of the Radium Resort ends your Glaciers and Hot Springs escape. Travel back to the Calgary International Airport today for your homeward or onward flight.
