ITINERARY:
DAY 1 - Calgary to Golden
Pick up a rental vehicle (included) in Calgary and begin a fantastic drive through Alberta's rolling ranchland and foothills to the majestic Rocky Mountains. After you check into your hotel, explore the local area.
DAY 2 - Discovering Golden
Today, enjoy a scenic gondola ride to the summit of Kicking Horse ski area, a SkyLunch at Eagle's Eye Restaurant, and an interpretive tour of a Grizzly Bear Refuge.
DAY 3 - Golden to Calgary
Return to Calgary today, retracing your route through the Rocky Mountains. You may wish to stop at Lake Louise to photograph the magnificent emerald green waters and Victoria Glacier, or make a stop in Banff for a walk by the Bow River and take a quick look at the unique shops and galleries downtown. Your adventure concludes with the drop off of the rental vehicle in Calgary.
