DAY 1 - Calgary to Kananaskis

Upon your arrival in Calgary, pick up your rental car and drive 127 kilometers/79 miles out of the city and into the Rockies to the Delta Lodge at Kananaskis.

DAY 2 - Exploring Kananaskis by Horse

This is the wrangler's favourite! Enjoy the scenic Ridge Ride, a 2 hour ride high above the valley with a spectacular view of the entire Kananaskis Area. After the ride, have a delicious barbequed steak lunch with ranch style baked potato, homemade baked beans, caesar salad and homemade apple dessert. This is a great way to experience the natural beauty of Kananaskis Country.

DAY 3 - Exploring Kananaskis by Raft

Spend a morning or an afternoon rafting the whitewater of the Kananaskis River! Rafts travel about 12 kilometres through Class I-III rapids and fast moving water. Everyone joins in the fun and excitement as they paddle their way through the rapids and chutes of the river. Bring along your bathing suit and towel and be ready to have fun!

DAY 4 - Kananaskis to Calgary

A morning check-out of your hotel, drive back to Calgary and drop off of your rental car ends your Outdoor Adventures in Kananaskis Country.
