DAY 1 - Arriving in Vancouver

Take your time today to check into your selected downtown hotel and have the afternoon to explore this beautiful Pacific city. Perhaps take a short trip out to the world-famous Capilano Suspension Bridge to experience walking on a 450 foot suspended walkway, hovering over a 230 foot decent to the Capilano River. Truly a unique experience.

DAY 2 - Exploring Vancouver

This morning, join a city tour of Vancouver. Highlights include: Gastown, Chinatown, Stanley Park, Queen Elizabeth Park and English Bay. The rest of your day is at leisure.

DAY 3 - Visiting Victoria

Take a tour by motorcoach and ferry from the B.C. mainland over to Vancouver Island. En route, you will have 1.5 hours on your own onboard a B.C. Ferry, admission to Butchart Gardens and a city tour of Victoria including city centre, Chinatown and Beacon Hill Park before being dropped off at your hotel in the late afternoon.

DAY 4 - Sightseeing in Victoria

Today is yours to explore this "British" city on your own. You may wish to take an optional whale watching tour, shop, explore the Royal British Columbia Museum or spend some time in the Crystal Gardens. All of these activities and much more are located near the Inner Harbour, within walking distance from your hotel.

DAY 5 - Victoria to Port Hardy

Today take a scheduled transfer motor coach Northbound along Vancouver Island. Along the way you will pass by many famous towns and villages that hold the West Coast ambience of British Columbia. At the end of the day, you will arrive into Port Hardy and take a taxi to your overnight accommodation.

DAY 6 - Cruise to Prince Rupert

Your adventure northward begins with a morning transfer (included) to the B.C. Ferries terminal for your ferry ride through the Inside Passage to Prince Rupert. This stunning 20 hour cruise provides ample opportunity to see a wonderful array of snow-capped mountains and island vistas. Killer whales, sea lions and playful porpoise often appear alongside.

DAY 7 - Arriving in Prince Rupert

After a 1.5 hour cruise around Kaien Island, the rest of the day is yours to explore the quaint town of Prince Rupert, a bustling port town with cruise ship docks, ferries to Alaska, Port Hardy and the Queen Charlotte Islands as well as a starting point for VIA Rail's Skeena train.

DAY 8 and 9 - VIA Rail's 'Skeena' to Prince George and Jasper

From waterways to railways ... a morning boarding of VIA Rail's 'Skeena' begins your discovery of northern British Columbia's forested landscape. Take advantage of the Skyline Car with its 360 degree views from the dome or the casual atmosphere of the lounge car below as the train gently weaves and winds its way to Prince George. The next morning, continue on your rail journey aboard the "Skeena." You may see bald eagles, black bears or moose from the windows of the train. Arriving into Jasper this afternoon, a transfer will be waiting to shuttle you to your hotel. Note: For departures starting in May and end of September, "Totem Class" onboard the Skeena is not available. Passengers will travel in "Economy" that does not offer included meals.

DAY 10 - Jasper to Banff Sightseeing

A full day excursion takes you along the Icefields Parkway, stopping at the Columbia Icefield for an "Ice Explorer" ride on the Athabasca Glacier. From the Icefield Centre, it is a picturesque drive southward past snow-capped peaks, hanging glaciers and mountain lakes to Banff.

DAY 11 - Discovering Banff

A morning "Discover Banff" excursion will highlight the town of Banff and its surrounding area. See the Banff Hoodoos and Tunnel Mountain Drive with its stunning viewpoints. The final stop will be at the Banff Gondola for a ride up to the top of Sulphur Mountain for some incredible 360 degree views of the Bow Valley.

DAY 12 - Banff to Lac Le Jeune

Banff, Yoho and Glacier National Parks - scenery abounds as you travel westward though the Canadian Rockies to reach Revelstoke by lunchtime. After lunch, the journey stretches into the interior of British Columbia and to the peaceful shores of Lac Le Jeune. An evening buffet at the peaceful Lac Le Jeune Resort will await your arrival. (Lunch and Dinner included).

DAY 13 - Lac Le Jeune to Vancouver

Today's tour will travel to Vancouver via the Coquihalla Highway. It passes through some of the most beautiful landscapes in the province. This dramatic change of environment is always exhilarating, as you go from misty coastal cedars and tall firs to bright sunlight on the high rock faces in the space of half an hour.Continue past the Coquihalla, traveling through Hope. While here, be sure to try to get some photos of the world-famous totem poles. Minter Gardens is the lunch stop for today. After lunch, there will be some time for a leisurely stroll around the world-class gardens before your departure for Vancouver.
