ITINERARY:

DAY 1 - Arrive in Banff

Upon arrival today at the Calgary International Airport, hop aboard a luxury Brewster motor coach for a scheduled transfer to the mountain resort of Banff, Alberta. The remainder of the day will be at your leisure to explore this beautiful alpine town, nestled in the heart of the Canadian Rockies.

DAY 2 - Sightseeing in Banff

Today is yours to explore the Banff townsite. Perhaps spend your morning visiting the amazing Whyte Museum of the Canadian Rockies, the Cave & Basin National Historic Site and the Banff Park Museum. All are very well known and have some spectacular exhibits. Afterwards, take a relaxing soak in the Banff Upper Hot Springs at the base of Sulphur Mountain. Your day ends with a transfer (included) from the Upper Hot Springs, back down to your hotel.

DAY 3 - Banff to Jasper

Travel northward along the Icefield Parkway today towards the mountain town of Jasper located in Jasper National Park. This spectacular drive through glacier country will be highlighted by massive snow covered mountains, frozen waterfalls and broad reaching valleys. Upon arrival, spend the rest of your evening at your leisure exploring this beautiful world-renowned destination.

DAY 4 - Exploring Jasper

Walking on the frozen floor of Jasper National Park's longest and deepest canyon is a memorable experience, and its yours to have on your excursion today. This area is considered to be part of the world's most extensive underground river systems. The tour is made that much more interesting by your experienced guide, providing information from a year round perspective of this area and shedding lights on this "mysterious" canyon.

DAY 5 - VIA Rail's 'Canadian' from Jasper to Vancouver

Your day is at leisure today until your transfer to the Jasper train station (included), where you will board the VIA Rail train bound for Vancouver (dinner included). Watch the sun set behind the Rockies as you make your way out of Alberta and into the province of British Columbia.

DAY 6 - Arrival into Vancouver

Arrive into Vancouver in the mid-morning, just intime to see the sunrise over the Vancouver Harbour. Transfer (included) to your overnight accommodation and enjoy the rest of your day exploring this stunning Pacific Coast city.

DAY 7 - Departing Vancouver

A morning checkout ends your "Snow Train of Jasper" getaway. Transfer on your own to the Vancouver International Airport for your homeward or onward flight.
