ITINERARY:

DAY 1 - Arrival in Winnipeg

Upon arrival in Winnipeg you will be transferred to your hotel. Check into the relaxing Hilton Suites conveniently located near the Winnipeg airport. If time permits, you may wish to visit such areas as St. Boniface, the city’s French Quarter, or the famous Winnipeg Forks area.

DAY 2 - Winnipeg to Churchill (B)

Following the complementary breakfast at your hotel take your free shuttle to the Winnipeg Airport for your morning flight to Churchill. Check into your Calm Air flight and you will be on your way to Canada’s amazing north! One of our guides will meet you upon arrival at the Churchill Airport and escort you to Lazy Bear Lodge to check-in. Enjoy your wonderful accommodations in Manitoba’s largest hand-built log building. In the afternoon take part in the Cultural and Heritage tour where you will see Cape Merry and the Polar Bear Jail among many other historic sites.

DAY 3 - Churchill (B, L)

After a hearty breakfast in the Lazy Bear Lodge Café check the notice board for your boat time. At high tide you will be transported to the boat launch to embark on your Seal River boat tour to view the majestic Polar Bear, the Beluga Whales and other wildlife of the North. No need to worry about lunch as a boxed lunch will be provided on this boat tour.

DAY 4 - Churchill (B, L, D)

Enjoy another hearty breakfast and get ready for your Beluga Whale boat tour. (Once again check notice board for departure times.) Thousands of these curious “sea canaries” come into the Churchill area each year. Make sure to bring your camera, as you will want to take these memories home with you. This tour also travels to The Prince of Wales Fort to experience some amazing history about the Hudson Bay Fur Trade. In the evening feel free to explore the Churchill area including local shops and museums in your spare time. Just stay clear of any wandering Polar Bears.

DAY 5 - Churchill (B)

Breakfast time! Today will be a free day for optional tours (such as kayaking or snorkeling with beluga whales). Make sure to enjoy all that Churchill has to offer.

DAY 6 - Churchill to Winnipeg (B)

Following your last delicious breakfast at the Lazy Bear Lodge Café you may check out of your room. (We will be happy to store your luggage for you if needed). Spend the day enjoying the town of Churchill or perhaps getting in another optional tour. The afternoon is yours! In the evening take the shuttle to Churchill Airport and head back to Winnipeg. Upon arrival in Winnipeg, Hilton Suites will provide shuttle service to the hotel where you can check-in, relax and spend your final night.

DAY 7 - Departing Winnipeg (B)

Enjoy breakfast at the Hilton followed by checking-out of your suite. Once ready, feel free to take the courtesy shuttle to the Winnipeg Airport. Have a safe journey back home and come and visit us again sometime!
