ITINERARY:

DAY 1 - Calgary to Banff

Today, travel through the foothills of the Rockies to the resort town of Banff, in Canada’s first National Park. Upon arrival, enjoy a sightseeing excursion with highlights including a visit to the hoodoos, shaped by centuries of wind; Surprise Corner and Tunnel Mountain Drive, which overlooks Bow Falls. Also, take a ride (included) on a gondola car to the top of Sulphur Mountain. After the excursion, you will be dropped off at your hotel.

DAY 2 - Sightseeing in Banff

A full day excursion takes you into the heart of the Rockies. Travel northward along the Columbia Icefield Parkway past towering peaks, expansive valleys and crystal waterways. At the Columbia Icefield, ride an Ice Explorer onto the surface of Athabasca Glacier. Today's touring draws to a close as you are returned to Banff for the evening.

DAY 3 and 4 - 'Rocky Mountaineer' to Kamloops and Vancouver

All aboard the "Rocky Mountaineer" for a two day rail adventure. Experience the spectacular Kicking Horse Pass views and the Spiral Tunnels as you wind your way through the mountains of the Canadian Rockies. Overnight in Kamloops. En route to Vancouver the 'Rocky Mountaineer' follows the Thompson and Fraser Rivers to Hell's Gate Canyon. Breakfast and lunch are served onboard. Upon arrival in the west coast city of Vancouver transfer via taxi to your hotel.

DAY 5 - Sightseeing in Victoria

A full day excursion to Victoria is highlighted by a ferry ride through the Gulf Islands, a visit to Butchart Gardens and city sights that includes Beacon Hill Park and downtown areas. Return to Vancouver in the late evening after a full day on Vancouver Island.

DAY 6 - Exploring Vancouver

A morning Vancouver Grand City tour of Stanley Park, English Bay, Queen Elizabeth Park, Chinatown and Gastown is on the schedule. The afternoon is yours to enjoy and explore at your leisure.

DAY 7 - Departing Vancouver

A morning check-out from your hotel concludes your Vancouver, Victoria & Canadian Rockies vacation.
