ITINERARY:
DAY 1 - Exploring Banff
A morning departure from Calgary for your sightseeing excursion to Banff includes stops at Tunnel Mountain, the Banff Hoodoos, and a ride on the Banff Gondola to the summit of Sulphur Mountain.
DAY 2 - Cruising in Banff
The morning is yours to explore this town and hunt for the perfect souvenirs. This afternoon, take a cruise on Lake Minnewanka (*seasonal), highlighted by jagged peaks, hoodoo clusters and Devil's Gap. In the afternoon you will have free time to continue your shopping or perhaps visit some of the many museums and attractions that Banff has to offer.
DAY 3 - Banff to Kamloops
This morning, transfer (included) to the Rocky Mountaineer Train Station. It is here you will board the Rocky Mountaineer for an unforgettable train trip bound for Vancouver with an overnight stay in Kamloops. En route you'll see the Kicking Horse Canyon, the amazing bridges of the Rogers Pass area, the roaring waters of the Fraser River at Hell's Gate, and the narrow gorge of the Fraser Canyon.
DAY 4 Kamloops to Vancouver
Continue your journey through British Columbia passing by countless forests, lakes, waterfalls and mountains. Upon arrival in the west coast city of Vancouver transfer (included) via taxi to your hotel.
DAY 5 - Departing Vancouver
A morning check out of your hotel ends your Western Canada Experience from Calgary.
