ITINERARY:

DAY 1 - Arriving in Calgary

Arrive in Calgary at your selected downtown hotel. The rest of the evening is yours to explore the city.

DAY 2 - Sightseeing in Banff

This afternoon, transfer via Brewster Service to the resort town of Banff. Upon arrival in this popular resort town, you will be transferred to your selected hotel. The rest of the day is yours to visit the townsite. Be sure to check out the Whyte Museum (admission included) to see some amazing exhibits about the history of Banff.

DAY 3 - Exploring Banff

Explore Banff on your own today. In the early afternoon take a taxi ride (included) to the lower terminal of the Banff Gondola. Take a gondola ride (admission included) that will bring you to the summit of Sulphur Mountain, and afterwards, bathe the famous Banff Upper Hot Springs (admission included). This evening, a "Dine Around" tour takes you to the Banff Wine Store for a sample and bottle to take with you, Tony Roma's for appetizer & entree and the Maple Leaf Grill for dessert.

DAY 4 - Visiting Lake Louise

A free morning allows more time to explore the highlights of Banff on your own. This afternoon, continue your tour with a transfer to Lake Louise via the scenic Bow Valley Parkway aboard a luxury Brewster motorcoach.

DAY 5 - Lake Louise to Jasper

Travel northward along the Icefield Parkway to Jasper today. This spectacular drive through glacier country will be highlighted by massive snow covered mountains, frozen waterfalls and broad reaching valleys.

DAY 6 - Sightseeing in Jasper

Come and enjoy the beauty of the striking Maligne Valley. The tour includes a short walk around the top of Maligne Canyon, then a scenic drive up the valley past the mysterious disappearing Medicine Lake to Maligne Lake. The wildlife can include moose, caribou, bull elk, big horn sheep, wolves, coyotes and more.

DAY 7 - VIA Rail's 'Canadian' from Jasper to Vancouver

The morning is at leisure until your transfer to the Jasper Train Station. Boarding the 'Canadian' marks the start of your overnight journey through the Rockies to Vancouver. Dinner is included onboard the train this evening.

DAY 8 - Arrival into Vancouver

A continental breakfast is included onboard VIA Rail this morning. Your Winter Wonderland vacation concludes with a morning arrival at Vancouver's Pacific Central Station.
